We enjoyed our Wiggle Worship session today with Steph, learning about what love and kindness could look like and how we could show it to others.
We then had a go at creating our own heart filling it with God's love and our love for God.

This week we participated in Children's Mental Health Week.
Every day we learnt and practiced a different strategy or technique we could do if we felt sad/upset/angry etc.
All with help from SCARF's Happy Healthy Harold.

Today for Number Day we spent our morning in forest schools. We participated in lots of natural and inquisitive activities that we could solve problems to. 

During our Class Trip to Chinatown we visited the Manchester Central Library to see Angela.

Angela held a story time for us in the newly renovated library.

Today we went on a class trip to Chinatown to finish off our learning about Chinese New Year.
 

We travelled on the bus into Manchester and walk to Chinatown.
We then went inside the supermarkets, where we bought our delicious Chinese wafer snack.

Today we continued our learning about Chinese New Year by making lanterns.
We use our fine motor skills to carefully cut the right shape and then we decorated them using gold paint and Chinese symbols.

Today we have been inspired by the Lion Dance from the Chinese New Year Parade in Manchester.
We created our own Lion Dance to traditional Chinese Music.

This week we are learning about Chinese New Year, Year of the Rabbit.
Today, we tasted different food, noodles, sauces, prawn crackers and learnt about a fortune cookie.
 

In Forest Schools we have been preparing for he big RBS BirdDay Garden Watch.

We made bird feeders using peanut butter and bird seed and hung them on branches for all the birds when they begin to appear at the first signs of Spring.

Our topic this half term is Light and Dark.
We are beginning to explore Space and Planets. The children's Busy Book activity this week was to create a planet of their choice. 
The children each showed their planet to their peers and explained what they knew about it.

Today we performed our Nativity Whoops-A-Daisy Angel.
We invited our parents/carers and friends along to come and watch us retell the real meaning of Christmas through songs and narrations.

Today we went to meet Father Brian at the St John Fisher Church and the Schoenstatt Shrine.
