We had to create a bridge that could hold the most two pence coins. We could only use official products purchased from Mrs Faulkners supply shop using our one hundred square that could be exchanged for tens and ones. We had three products to choose from paper, paper clips and sticky labels each costing the equivalent of ten pounds. Some of us spent wisely. Some of us asked for credit from the shop and even our friends! The best design was created using sticky labels and paper combining a cylindrical top section and a flat base supported by strengthening sticky labels to affix the two shapes. We used our knowledge of shape, multiples of ten and twos, design and materials alongside developing our communication skills and love of learning. It really revealed the type of people we are.
