I saw a lovely video of a young boy reading Owl Babies to some baby owls at a sanctuary for owls and other birds of prey. He was reading out loud when three of them tottered over to listen. How lovely!
Why don't you gather some of your favourite books and read them to your pets. If you don't have a pet then maybe you could sit outside and read to your garden birds or, perhaps, your favourite stuffed toys.
