We have been working on perimeter this week in maths. We have been completing perimeter challenges and practically measuring perimeter around school. 

This morning we are carrying out research to find out information for our explanation texts about electricity. 

Children will be coming home with spellings to be tested next week. Children have also got a homework book with this week's maths homework inside.

Well done to this week's handwriting blogstars, Iris and James.

We are creating factor rainbows this morning, as we learn to recognise and use factor pairs. 

We have been outside in the fresh air today playing netball. We have been practicing our netball passes and footwork. 

This week's spellings are being sent home with your child tonight. Along with a piece of English homework. To be tested and completed for next Friday.

This week in Maths we have been completing some fun challenges to help with our mental division skills. 

This afternoon in topic we are creating our own Blitz paintings. We have drawn a London skyline and will stick this on to our background of fire. 

Over the next two weeks in English we are going to be focussing on instructional texts. 

This morning we are making a fruit salad so that we can write our own set of instructions. 

We will be enjoying our fruit salads at break time for our healthy tuck. 

Something exciting for a Monday…

This morning Year 4 are working hard learning about fronted adverbials. 

Year 4 completed a learning log over half term and created some excellent models for our topic on The Blitz.
