Just a small selection of the many photographs of the fantastic effort Year 4 put into today's fundraising event!  Some pupils managed to run 10 laps of the course in 30 minutes!

We had a great time this morning cleaning our environment. We took turns picking up rubbish with the litter pickets and holding the bags. We were very careful and made sure we didn't touch any rubbish with our hands.

This week our homework is to write a twisted fairytale.  We planned our tales last week and the challenge now is to use the plan to write a twisted fairytale.

Today we have been celebrating all things reading!  We have completed a book scavenger hunt in the school library and completed a top 5s sheet which included things like our top 5 authors, illustrators and characters from books.

This morning we were joined by Year 4 from All Saints. We had to create a poster to sell a selection of products.  We then pitched our products to the judges (Miss Moss and Miss Holden) who couldn't decide on a winner as they were all fantastic!

Today we have had a day full of number puzzles! While some of us typed our 500 word stories others were busy solving some very complicated number problems.  There were some very confused faces at first but we got there in the end!

This afternoon we have been using the coordinates skills we learned in Maths last week to help us to read maps.  We had a list of towns and cities and the Roman roads that were built to connect the two.

We learned about how Roman roads were made and that we can still see some roads today.

Yesterday we looked at a collection of replica Roman coins.  We used pencil to sketch the coins and today we have used clay to create our own Roman coins. 

Miss Moss has set us a challenge. Some of us had to use our times tables knowledge to recreate a multiplication grid. We worked together to place the jigsaw pieces into the correct place on the grid.
