I missed Top Table last week (I was in Grasmere dining with Year 5) and it felt good to be back! Raise a glass and say cheers to last week's Star Award winners.

We had a great two days in Grasmere with Year 5 last week. The weather was 'mixed' but that meant we were treated to rainbows throughout our stay. The children were great - walked for miles without complaining, ate heartily and were generally a credit to the school.

I wasn't there (I was with Year 5 in Grasmere) but the Star award winners had an enjoyable lunchtime with Mrs Goodwin at the head of the Top Table. Well done to everyone and thank you Mrs Goodwin!
