Today in Year 2 we took it in turns to be the teacher, this teacher helped us to understand tens and units additions!
Diurnal Animals
This afternoon we have been very busy painting diurnal animals. Do you know what diurnal means? We think it's a very clever word!
Fantastic work
This morning we have been writing character descriptions for Mrs Wobble the Waitress. We tried really hard to include all of our sentence types in our work. One person even had to take his work to Mr Lasan as it was so impressive!

Look what we spotted in the sky!
This morning we were very excited when we went out to play. We saw a hot air balloon! Some of us thought it was Dorothy and Toto with the Wizard of Oz, whilst others thought it was some secret spies. Either way it was very exciting!

Nocturnal Acrostic Poems
Continuing with our Topic work on nocturnal animals we have been making our own acrostic poems. We had to use either nocturnal, hedgehog, badger or fox as the basis of our poem. We had lots of good ideas and they look really good displayed in our nocturnal area.
