Look who got full marks on their spelling test this morning, well done! 

Unfortunately, the clouds weren't too kind to us this morning, but we still got a glimpse of the moon going infront of the sun.  We also noticed how cold it went because the sun was blocked by the moon. 

Year 2 were very excited when looking for the solar eclipse this morning.  We found out all about it on Newsround and then went outside to see what all the fuss was about!

As part of our R.E work we are working hard to understand the true meaning of Easter.  Our Easter song 'Really About Jesus' is one of our favourites and has helped to explain the story to us.  To show what we have learned we decided to make crosses, rather than chocolate eggs or chicks for our…

After working hard to complete the experiment we were very impressed with the results and the taste of our new drink!

There's some very strange things happening in Year 2!

This morning Year 2 received a very special parcel.  Inside there was a special test from Willy Wonka...he wants to know what happens when we mix two of his magic ingredients.  We will let you know when we find out!

The second half of Year 2 had a great time creating their own lungs.  We had to work hard to follow the instructions to create our own model of a lung.  It was really good fun! 

We are currently experimenting to see how big our lungs are! 

The first half of Year 2 are ready to go into our Science lab....I wonder what they will be doing!
