We remembered the new day for library books is Tuesday!

The children used the pic collage app to create their own individual creations, searching for images, applying text and images, resizing and taking photographs. Try it out at home, they loved it!

The children expertly applied their knowledge of paint to produce this living flame effect surrounding their collaborative artwork featuring Samuel Pepys.

... and it's a boy. Well done, keep it up!

The children collected synonyms for fire to support our learning on the great fire of London. We then colour mixed shades for our fiery word choices ranging from burnt oranges, blazing reds and golden yellows.

I have set the children the challenge of creating their very own Tudor house model ( at home) using an empty cereal box or something smaller for our class display. The children have designed their house in class. Please could all models be presented in class for Monday 18th January.

Well done this weeks high scorers. Come on lads, it's a team effort I hope to see some boys next week!

That's right library day has changed, it has now moved to a Tuesday. Try to remember to bring your book in every Tuesday so you can pick a new book from our fabulous selection in our library.

Don't forget to write your diary entries for 2 days of your holidays using the guidelines sent home. Using this word bank will really help you to think carefully about your word choices and improve the accuracy of your spelling. Remember try to use your best cursive handwriting. I'm looking…
