This half term we would have been learning about rocks and soils in science.  Here is a video explaining the three different types of rock: igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary.

Now that you have watched the video, why don't you have a go at making chocolate rocks.  You will need your grown-up to help you with this activity.

There was a newspaper article earlier in the week that really made me smile.  It was about about a herd of wild Kashmiri Goats that usually live on the Great Orme in Llandudno, North Wales.  They sometimes climb down when the weather is too windy but, now that the streets are deserted, it seems that they have decided to move into the quiet seaside town!
