To support our traditional story planning based upon the story of the frog and the scorpion, the children have been asked to up level their adjective choices through the use of a thesaurus to really show their flair for writing through the use of expanded noun phrases.

Today the children were set the challenge to identify the most absorbent material through their scientific observational skills. The children had to think scientifically and work as part of a team using appropriate scientific terminology to describe their findings.
